Mining3 finalists for Austmine METS Innovation Award

We would like to congratulate the Mining3 Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) for conveyor monitoring team on all of their hard work, resulting in a finalist position in the Austmine 2019 METS Innovation Award. The application process was extremely competitive and the six finalists represented the highest calibre of mining research globally. Following this success and their recent win in the 2018 Mining Magazine’s Bulk Handling Award, we look forward to the next phase of development and commercialisation of the technology with partners The AVA Group.

We would also like to take this moment to congratulate Orica for taking home first prize.
