Mining3 welcomes new member Dyno Nobel

Brisbane, 18 March 2019 – Mining3 welcomes Dyno Nobel as its newest member expanding our diverse membership base to include the global leader in commercial explosives.

As of the 1 March 2019 Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL) – the parent company to Dyno Nobel – signed the membership deed to collaborate with, and leverage the world-class research and development Mining3 offers.

Mining3 Chief Executive Officer, Prof Paul Lever said, “Mining3 hasn’t had an explosives company as a member before even though we have a strong focus in this area. Dyno Nobel will provide a greater level of insight into our blasting projects and assist in solving complex solutions for our near-future focused portfolio.”

Robert Rounsley, IPL’s newly appointed Chief Technology Officer commented that “We are actively building out Dyno Nobel’s technology development capability. We can offer our customers an even richer solution set and we believe collaborating with Mining3 and its members will accelerate this undertaking.”
