In-place Mining: Challenges and the Path Forward with Automation, Processing, and Modelling Solutions
Join us
Mining3 invites you to join us for our industry forum on In-place Mining, a future mining approach that promises to fundamentally change the way we mine. This forum will bring together mining industry professionals, academia, and students to learn, share knowledge and discuss solutions. Through presentations from industry experts and facilitated round table sessions, participants will be able to tackle the challenges to accelerate the development of modelling, processing, and automation for In-place Mining.
The Mining3 Mining the Gap Innovation Forum is scheduled from 12:30 – 5:15 p.m. on September 4. Capacity is limited and includes lunch on arrival from 12:30 p.m.
Registration for the 4-day IFAC Conference includes complimentary entry to the Mining3 Innovation Forum.
In this session, speakers from industry will present their insights and current challenges regarding In-place Mining. This will be followed by round-table discussions to identify the solutions (technology/ equipment/ services/ models) that need to be developed in response to the industry needs.
In this session, leaders from Academia will present the latest research and innovations that could unlock some of the challenges for the future of mining. This will be followed by round table discussions to identify potential projects and strategies to create a path forward in response to the identified solutions.
